Zara Mohammed, the Secretary General of the MCB to met some of the Walsall Mosques as part getting to know the member organisations. Dr Shahzad Amin assistant Secretary General and head of Mosques accompanied her. Zara shared her vision for the MCB and listened representatives of Walsall Mosques and organisations about their aspirations and expectations from the MCB.
Thank you to Aisha Mosque for initiating the meeting and all the people who were present. A strong national umbrella organisation like MCB are critical to tackling Islamophobia and other issues impacting the UK’s Muslims.
